I am delighted to welcome you to the Secret Gardens website. I am an Edinburgh-based garden designer and have been creating gardens and garden buildings since 2000.

My design experience includes small urban patio gardens, walled gardens, cottage gardens, country gardens, family gardens and play areas, fruit and vegetable gardens, outdoor kitchens, water gardens, decks and boardwalks, planting designs, the complete garden make-over or a simple garden freshen-up.

I also design garden buildings: summerhouses, garden studios, playhouses and bespoke sheds, many with environmentally friendly designs and green roofs.

In my portfolio section you can find a wide range of gardens I have completed since I began working as a garden designer. All the photographs used throughout the site are of gardens I have designed, including my own.

Breaking news!  I am currently busy creating the planting design for the Reinforcing Nature Show Garden to be displayed at Gardening Scotland 2010, 4th-6th June.  Construction of the garden is underway and the plants are being laid out under cover at Binny Plants in anticipation of warmer weather.
